In our experience and talking to our spouses, sometimes that aeropress filter basket is a little hard to remove. This ring slides into the aeropress basket notches and gives you alot more grip on twisting and removing the filter basket after a brew.

This Grip Ring is specifically for the Aeropress Go and is slightly smaller diameter so it will fit inside the cup when all packed away.
